Lead Pharmacy Operations Manager

As a key player in our organization, you will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy department, ensuring the highest standards of service and care for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Manage recruitment and performance evaluations of team members.
- Ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of the pharmacy.
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications to patients in a timely manner.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter products.
- Provide comprehensive counseling to patients regarding their medications.
- Engage with the community through public health initiatives and educational programs.
- Address and resolve patient inquiries and physician requests promptly.
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor and control departmental expenses effectively.
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist license are essential.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation and development.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Proven track record in utilizing community marketing strategies to enhance business.
- Effective problem-solving skills with experience in implementing action plans.
- Proficient in personal computing and familiarity with KROLL Pharmacy software is an asset.
