Lead Pharmacy Operations Manager

As a pivotal member of our team, you will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy department, ensuring the highest standards of service and care for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Manage hiring processes and evaluate employee performance to maintain a high level of service.
- Ensure the financial and operational success of the pharmacy department through effective management strategies.
- Accurately prepare, dispense, and control medications for patients in a timely manner.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter products to meet patient needs.
- Provide comprehensive counseling to patients regarding their medications, ensuring a positive and proactive interaction.
- Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote health awareness and education.
- Address and resolve patient inquiries and physician requests promptly and effectively.
- Analyze budgeted sales and net contributions to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor and manage costs across all pharmacy operations.
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist license are essential.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and coaching team members.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to professionalism.
- Proven track record in community-based marketing strategies.
- Effective problem-solving skills with experience in developing and implementing action plans.
- Proficient in personal computing and familiarity with KROLL Pharmacy Computer system is an asset.
