Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Bon Sushi (Oak Bay). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of our service standards and menus.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales trends and manage budgets to maintain profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize food costs, labor productivity, and inventory management.
  • Evaluate and enhance daily restaurant operations, including menu engineering, marketing initiatives, and staff performance.
  • Lead and train a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop action plans to improve employee skills and job satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
