Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Specialist to join our team at Calian Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing logistics support to the Asset Visibility Initiative required by the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Logistics Support: Provide logistics support to the Asset Visibility Initiative, including preparing correspondence and documents related to the acceptance/rejection of deliverables.
  2. Statement of Work: Prepare statements of work and item descriptions for inclusion into requests for proposals.
  3. Feedback and Data Clarification: Provide feedback and/or data clarification to the project management authority.
  4. Evaluation of ILS Bid Proposals: Conduct evaluations of ILS bid proposals and provide feedback and recommendations to the project management authority.
  5. Integration with Other Program Activities: Work with engineering and procurement to ensure ILS efforts are integrated with other program activities.
  6. Logistic Support Elements: Plan and implement logistic support elements which include: maintenance tasks, spares, training, technical publications, translation and facilities.
  7. Presentations: Prepare and present to business units and operational divisions which cover issues of maintenance and supply support.
Requirements
  1. Driver's License: A valid provincial driver's license (Class G or equivalent as a minimum).
  2. Microsoft Office Experience: Minimum of 3 years working experience using Microsoft Office; Excel, Access and Word.
  3. Supply Chain Experience: Minimum two (2) years, within the last 5 years, working experience with corporate supply chain policies and procedures pertaining to the Supply Chain System, Materiel Management, and the Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS) Logistics.
  4. DRMIS and Cataloguing Experience: Experience with DRMIS and cataloguing requests within the past 15 years.
  5. CGCS Experience: Experience with CGCS within the past 15 years.
  6. CANSOFCOM Experience: Minimum of 1 year working experience with CANSOFCOM or the Special Operations Forces of Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
