Calian is seeking a dedicated Logistics Support Specialist to assist with the Asset Visibility Initiative essential for the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM).

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting correspondence and documentation concerning the acceptance or rejection of deliverables.
- Creating statements of work and item descriptions for inclusion in requests for proposals.
- Providing insights and/or data clarification to the project management authority.
- Evaluating ILS bid proposals and offering feedback and recommendations to the project management authority.
- Collaborating with engineering and procurement to ensure ILS efforts are aligned with other program activities.
- Planning and executing logistic support elements, which encompass maintenance tasks, spare parts, training, technical publications, translations, and facilities.
- Preparing and delivering presentations to business units and operational divisions addressing maintenance and supply support issues.
Qualifications
- A valid provincial driver's license (Class G or equivalent as a minimum).
- At least 3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and Word.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last 5 years with corporate supply chain policies and procedures related to the Supply Chain System, Materiel Management, and the Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS) Logistics.
- Experience with DRMIS and cataloguing requests within the past 15 years.
- Experience with CGCS within the past 15 years.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with CANSOFCOM or the Special Operations Forces of Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
