About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Leader to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that we meet our production goals and maintain the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement effective work assignments for subordinates, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide feedback.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, including attendance and performance management.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address production issues and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company assets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of improving production efficiency and quality.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Union experience preferred.
