Associate Director, Inspections

At Accoravillage, we're committed to promoting audit quality and investor protection. As an Associate Director, Inspections, you'll play a critical role in conducting inspections of audit firms and maintaining control of assigned inspection work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of audit firms, including discussions with engagement teams and firm leadership.
- Maintain control of assigned inspection work, meeting deadlines and conducting inspections efficiently.
- Foster professional relationships with colleagues, firms, and stakeholders, reflecting positively on Accoravillage.
- Prepare high-quality written reports and participate in inspection projects to enhance CPAB's inspection processes.
- Support stakeholder engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
About You:
- You have a minimum of 7 years of progressive public company accounting and audit experience at a Big Four or national accounting firm.
- You hold a CPA designation and possess in-depth knowledge of IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards.
- You're a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- You're adaptable, flexible, and willing to travel approximately 6 weeks per year.
