Job Title: Associate Art Director

We are seeking an experienced Associate Art Director to join our team at Ubisoft. As a key member of our artistic team, you will be responsible for transmitting the artistic vision to our teams and applying artistic guidelines to the world, architecture, and lighting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the artistic vision is understood and applied across the team.
  • Collaborate with concept artists, modelers, and level artists to bring inspiring subjects to life.
  • Ensure the coherence of the world and visual quality, making suggestions to enrich the vision and create an immersive experience for gamers.
  • Work with lighters to enhance the visual quality of the game.
  • Act as a relay for the art director and be responsible for certain subjects.
  • Meet regularly with the team to give and receive feedback, share suggestions, and set milestones.
Requirements:
  • A solid understanding of art fundamentals, artistic culture, and video game culture.
  • Knowledge of game engines, 2D art tools, and 3D software.
  • Art-related experience in the video game industry and leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Open-mindedness and effective cross-departmental communication.
