Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Trade AP Associate to join our team. As a Trade AP Associate, you will play a critical role in processing freight invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor accounts.

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure payment terms are met with valued vendors.
  • Validate and post freight & rail invoices using the 3-way matching process.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Contribute to process improvements where applicable.

Responsibilities:

As a Trade AP Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining complete and up-to-date records in our documentation and filing systems.
  • Assisting with audit requests, ad hoc duties, and projects as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong customer service skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in data entry and managing high volumes of information with precision.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
