Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team at Nova Hotels. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized, and that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle difficult guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a team-oriented approach, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable, responding to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education and/or previous hospitality training is considered an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry is considered an asset.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

The work environment is an office setting, with a low-medium noise level and high traffic area for internal and external guests. The physical demands of the job include long periods of sitting, some standing, walking, bending, crouching, or stooping, with occasional lifting of 5-10 lbs.
