Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at o/a I Hop Restaurant. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency in all aspects of our food service operations.
- Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as reports on sales, stock, and wastage, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work environment.
