Railway Signaling and Communications Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Signal and Communication Foreperson to join our team in Western Canada for our 2024 maintenance and construction season.
As an S&C Construction Foreperson, you will work as part of a team performing moderate to heavy physical labor installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing railroad signaling and communications equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of railway industry and signal operations.
- Work unsupervised as well as in teams to achieve project goals.
- Travel to remote work locations as required.
- Maintain company safety guidelines and policies at all times.
- Minimum 2 years' rail experience installing and/or maintaining S&C systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
- Experience operating heavy equipment on-and-off track is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license and ability to produce a driver's abstract.
- Knowledge of and recent qualification in Canadian Railway Operating Rules (CROR).
- Must pass eRailSafe Canada certification.
- Able to pass pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
