Railway Bridgeperson

Remcan Projects LP is seeking a skilled Bridge Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Bridges and Structures department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of railway bridges and bridge components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance, repair, and inspection of railway bridges and bridge components (concrete, wood, or steel)
• Qualify in Fall Arrest and Scaffolding Installation (where required)
• Demonstrate proficiency in carpentry techniques such as framing, measuring, and building forms
• Work at heights including ladders, scaffolding, and man lifts
• Experience working with or around heavy equipment on-and-off track (an asset)
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license and ability to produce a driver's abstract
• Knowledge and recent qualification in Canadian Railway Operating Rules (CROR)
• Pass eRailSafe Canada certification
• Meet REMCAN safety guidelines and policies at all times
