About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Supply Specialist to join our team at Sechelt, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming materials, ensuring that goods are delivered as per specifications and completing related paperwork.

Responsibilities
  • Receives, unpacks, and checks incoming materials
  • Assembles issues, delivers, and ships goods for return and/or from requisition requests received
  • Contact suppliers to resolve shipping/receiving-related discrepancies
  • Transmit faxes for the department as required
  • Stores all goods received in appropriate space
  • Transports stock and materials to all areas of facility
  • Assists with physical inventories as required
  • Cleans and rotates stock, and keeps assigned stores areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Performs related clerical duties including filing, as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Grade 12 plus one year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, including heavy lifting
  • Ability to organize work
  • Ability to operate related equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively

Salary Information

The salary for this position is $25.26/hour + 13% in lieu, making it a competitive offering for those in the field.
