Job Summary

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating logistical, technical, financial, and administrative services to support the effective operation of our research and logistics programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistical services, including transportation, equipment, and supplies
  • Manage financial administration procedures and principles
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities
  • Develop and maintain databases and records
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies, research organizations, and local communities
  • Manage information dissemination and coordinate events
  • Develop and implement operational plans and procedures
  • Monitor and report on program performance and progress

Requirements

  • Completion of an office administration diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in an administrative support role or equivalent work experience
  • Background experience in database management
  • Valid class five driver's license

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
