Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating logistical, technical, financial, and administrative services to support the effective operation of our research and logistics programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistical services, including transportation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Provide administrative support to the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry
- Manage information dissemination, including communicating with stakeholders, preparing reports, and maintaining databases
- Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals and objectives
Requirements
- Completion of an office administration diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in an administrative support role or equivalent work experience
- Background experience in database management and inventory control
- Valid class five driver's license
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The Government of Northwest Territories is an inclusive workplace, and we welcome applications from diverse candidates.
