Job Title: Logistics Coordinator, WARC

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at the WARC research and logistics programs. As the first point of contact for the public and facility users, you will be responsible for coordinating logistical, technical, financial, and administrative services for the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities and the WARC staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate logistical, technical, financial, and administrative services for the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities and the WARC staff.
  • Manage information dissemination regarding the availability of services, accommodations, and equipment at WARC and in the surrounding Beaufort Delta region.
  • Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities and the WARC staff.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and equipment rentals for WARC staff and visitors.
  • Manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an office administration diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in an administrative support role or equivalent work experience.
  • Background experience in database management.
  • Valid class five driver's license.
