As part of Dal Innovates, the Project Manager, Collide is responsible for the overall planning, delivery, and management of the Collide Validate program, a key component of Dalhousie's entrepreneurial programming suite.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Collide Validate program, ensuring alignment with budget and funding requirements.
- Manage program resources, including personnel, budget, and timelines, to ensure successful program delivery.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote the Collide Validate program and attract participants and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a data collection and metrics strategy to measure program success and inform future program improvements.
- Provide coaching or mentorship to students and other stakeholders as needed.
- Undergraduate degree in business, entrepreneurship, or a related field, with three to five years' related experience in program management, entrepreneurship, or business development.
- Experience with start-up methodologies, including Lean and Disciplined Entrepreneurship.
- Demonstrated experience leading the planning, execution, and management of innovation programming.
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement, including government, universities, companies, start-ups, researchers, clinicians, students, and ecosystem partners.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including budget management and program evaluation experience.
- Master's degree
The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate proficiency in Dalhousie's core and leadership competencies, including respect and inclusion, adaptability, knowledge and thinking skills, communication, and service.
