Project Manager, Collide

Job Summary
Dalhousie University, under the leadership of the Vice-President Research & Innovation, administers over $250M annually in research and innovation funding. The Project Manager, Collide is responsible for the overall planning, delivery, and management of the Collide Validate program, a key component of Dal Innovates' entrepreneurial programming suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of the Collide Validate program, implementing and managing program content schedules and event timelines. Develop strategies for recruitment, program delivery, and participant engagement.
- Manage program resources and ensure alignment with budget and funding requirements.
- Assist other sites in running Collide Validate programs, ensuring consistency and high standards across different locations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data collection and metrics strategy to measure program success. Provide reports on key performance indicators to inform future program improvements and funding decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent branding and promotion of Collide Validate. Contribute to marketing materials and outreach efforts to attract participants and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, entrepreneurship, or a related field, with three to five years' related experience in program management, entrepreneurship, or business development (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Experience with start-up methodologies including Lean, and Disciplined Entrepreneurship.
- Demonstrated experience leading the planning, execution, and management of innovation programming.
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement including government, universities, companies, start-ups, researchers, clinicians, students, and ecosystem partners.
- Demonstrated project management skills with budget management and program evaluation experience.
- Providing coaching or mentorship to students.
