Senior Mechanical Engineer for Canadian Nuclear Projects

About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (M/F) to contribute to Canadian projects related to Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and nuclear fleet refurbishment programs.
- Lead technical meetings and discussions
- Prepare calculation notes and technical drawings
- Schedule reviews and surveillance of calculation notes and technical drawings
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and queries
- Review and approve designs
- Analyze non-conformances and exemptions requests, open points, and design changes
- Assist in upskilling other team members
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with Canadian Nuclear Standards
- Excellent English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, demonstrated through your work experience and approach to problem-solving
- A willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing circumstances
