Job Summary:

The Toronto District School Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Enrolment and Planning Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the collection and reporting of actual enrolment data within the Board and for submission to the Ministry of Education.
  • Provide direction to schools on the reporting of actual enrolments and the use of enrolment registers.
  • Liaise with the Student Information System Department to coordinate the completion of monthly enrolment reports and OnSIS.
  • Prepare annual reports to the Board on actual enrolment and 3-year projected enrolment.
  • Manage the preparation of system and regional enrolment projections.
  • Coordinate the allocation of portables to schools with the Managers of Accommodation Planning and Planners.
  • Lead the Portable Management Strategy collaboratively with the Design and Renewal Department.
  • Manage the collection of data on room uses in TDSB schools and buildings annually.
  • Manage the updating of the Property Maps application with current room use data annually.
  • Responsible for management and direction of Planning Assistants, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling and performance management.
