We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join The Mason Group Inc in Toronto, Ontario.

Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly, and financial budget reconciliation processes, including performing financial variance analysis on revenue and operating expenditures and accruals. This role requires a tight month-end close cycle deliverables.

  • Consult with Operations Management to align strategic initiatives with annual planning, prepare monthly accruals, and assist with general invoice inquiries.
  • Act as key liaison to accounting, attending month-end meetings, preparing variance analysis and reporting, and serving as a point of contact for audit questions.
  • Develop Microsoft Excel-based financial models to determine the effect of various scenarios and their impact on Airport Operations strategies, goals, and initiatives.

Maintain and update airport operations revenue and cost models in Workday Adaptive, and perform UAT testing as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A university degree in Business/Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
  • A Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CA, CMA, CGA) completed, in progress, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in budgeting and forecast development, along with monthly financial reporting processes.
  • Hands-on end-user experience with Oracle Financial systems and other analytic tools such as Essbase/Hyperion, Workday Adaptive, and Oracle Discoverer.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year.
