Job Title: Executive Chef
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MANPASAND INDIAN CUISINE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary team and creating innovative dishes that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Create new recipes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 30 hours per week.
