About the Role

The Fleet Coordinator is a key position within Brandt, responsible for the strategic management of the company's fleet assets. This includes the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of vehicles, trailers, forklifts, and mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Source and procure new fleet assets from authorized suppliers, ensuring compliance with Brandt's specifications and budget requirements.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
  • Fleet Management
    • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of fleet assets across all Brandt entities.
    • Monitor and analyze fleet performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Vendor Management
    • Manage relationships with dealerships and other suppliers to ensure Brandt receives best-in-class service and support.
    • Monitor and control vendor performance, ensuring compliance with Brandt's standards and policies.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulatory requirements and advise Brandt's operations and management on implications and necessary actions.
  • Insurance and Risk Management
    • Administer insurance policies and claims for fleet assets, ensuring compliance with Brandt's risk management policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, evaluate options, and select and act upon best solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience using an ERP package is an asset.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management, procurement, or a related field.
