About the Role

Fantastic Transport Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and optimal use of resources.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate the movement of goods, including scheduling, routing, and inventory management.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train our truck drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our drivers are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to our drivers, including diversity and cross-cultural training, to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our drivers, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
