About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at 2480105 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Interview patients to obtain comprehensive case histories, ensuring accurate and detailed information is recorded.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete insurance and other claim forms, maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, and order supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence, prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, and initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare draft agendas for meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant parties.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced medical office environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Capabilities: Perform tasks that require sitting for extended periods, using a computer, and occasional lifting of files and supplies.
