About the Role

Foliot Furniture is seeking a skilled Furniture Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our after-sales service team, you will be responsible for supervising the installation of furniture in hotels and student residences across Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the installation of furniture in hotels and student residences, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with our logistics team to ensure timely delivery of furniture and materials.
  • Travel to customer sites to respond to service calls and resolve any installation issues.
  • Plan and assess sales needs for each facility, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Organize the logistics staff for the facilities, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Act as a representative of Foliot Furniture, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our company standards are met.

Requirements

  • DEC or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Essential bilingualism (French-English spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity, resourcefulness, and autonomy, with a willingness to get hands-on and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of furniture assembly and carpentry.
  • Professional attitude, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and clients.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working Conditions

  • Variable work schedule, including weekdays and weekends, depending on installation needs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and Canadian passport.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to rent cars abroad.
