We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage medications, narcotics, and other controlled substances, adhering to protocols and regulations.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the unique needs of each resident.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others, respecting resident autonomy and dignity.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing long-term care.
  • Medical clearance, including TB tests, and a clear criminal record check.
