**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Port Stanley area, working in long term and acute care facilities.
This role offers competitive compensation, including travel reimbursement and accommodation, with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure exceptional care and personal attention in the assigned home areas.
- To facilitate timely and accessible admissions for residents, providing comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
- To ensure safe and efficient transfers and discharges, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts.
- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the diverse needs of residents, encompassing physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social requirements.
**Requirements**
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is mandatory.
- Able to work effectively with individuals having infectious diseases.
- BLS Certification is essential.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification is required.
- Proof of current immunizations against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) as well as a negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B is necessary.
- A Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check is required.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team is crucial.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- The flexibility to work varied shift times, ranging from 8 to 12 hours, is necessary.
- The ability to 'float' between units within a hospital, depending on facility needs, is required.
- Reliability in accepting placement at agreed-upon facilities/unit is essential.
- Compliance with the RhynoCare Healthcare shift acceptance/cancellation policy is mandatory.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Competitive salary: $85,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience.
