**Key Responsibilities**

  • To deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure exceptional care and personal attention in the assigned home areas.
  • To facilitate timely and accessible admissions for residents, providing comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
  • To ensure safe and efficient transfers and discharges, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts.
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the diverse needs of residents, encompassing physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is mandatory.
  • Able to work effectively with individuals having infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certification is essential.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certification is required.
  • Proof of current immunizations against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) as well as a negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B is necessary.
  • A Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check is required.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team is crucial.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • The flexibility to work varied shift times, ranging from 8 to 12 hours, is necessary.
  • The ability to 'float' between units within a hospital, depending on facility needs, is required.
  • Reliability in accepting placement at agreed-upon facilities/unit is essential.
  • Compliance with the RhynoCare Healthcare shift acceptance/cancellation policy is mandatory.

**Compensation and Benefits**

Competitive salary: $85,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience.
