About the Role

As a Part Time Field Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your expertise and attention to detail will enable you to assess, plan, and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our interprofessional care team to provide person-centered care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and well-being. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development and implementation of care plans, and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and collect information from various sources to develop effective care plans
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to implement care plans and promote patient-centered care
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other interventions as needed
  • Document patient information and care plans accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional care team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
