Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in their condition, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in community needs assessments to identify areas for improvement in palliative care services.
  • Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop effective care plans.
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, adhering to established protocols.
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
