Nurse Practitioner

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Regency LTC in Port Hope, ON.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of nursing practice and ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and evaluating resident care plans, while also providing direction to the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality resident care that meets established nursing standards and principles.
- Assess and monitor residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff, including orientations and performance appraisals.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of nursing duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
