This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Grammas Marine Inn Ltd. as a skilled cook. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing delicious meals for our guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for meal preparation
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean the kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support kitchen operations
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet the needs of our guests and maintain a high level of quality and safety

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience
