About the Role

EnviroEmplois is seeking a highly skilled Biologist Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing various environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of environmental impact assessments and other related studies within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Coordinate and participate in field inventories;
  • Manage environmental permit applications and certificates of authorization;
  • Prepare and submit service offers;
  • Develop methodologies and prepare sampling plans, and ensure data entry;
  • Lead the writing of inventory reports, diagnostics, and reference states, and certificates of authorization for ministries as part of project development;
  • Participate in project budget and timeline management;
  • Collaborate with all departments of the company to complete projects;
  • Promote and apply the company's occupational health and safety prevention program.

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree (bachelor's and/or master's) in biology or any other relevant field to environmental management (geology, geography, forestry, agronomy, etc.) or engineering;
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Have a good knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations;
  • Be able to travel to different sites as needed;
  • Developed analytical and synthesizing skills;
  • Sense of organization, planning, and project coordination;
  • Communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Initiative and autonomy.
