EnviroEmplois is seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrogeologist Project Manager to join our growing team in Quebec City.

In this role, you will play a vital part in managing diverse hydrogeological projects, contributing to essential research, well construction initiatives, and the sustainable management of groundwater resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, supervision, and execution of comprehensive work programs and investigations within the field of hydrogeology.
  • Oversee drilling operations, soil sampling, and groundwater testing procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed technical documents and plans, effectively communicating project objectives and findings.
  • Analyze and interpret complex hydrogeological data, drawing insightful conclusions and recommendations.
  • Effectively manage projects, overseeing resources, budgets, and timelines to achieve successful outcomes within established parameters.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and water withdrawal authorization requests, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge sharing.
  • Champion workplace health and safety programs, fostering a secure and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or a Master's degree in Hydrogeology.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the field of hydrogeology.
  • Exhibit strong time management and decision-making skills, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Possess excellent French verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and concise interactions.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of provincial water withdrawal regulations and guidelines.
  • Display autonomy, initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
