About Waterloo Ford Lincoln Sales Ltd.
We are a leading automotive dealership seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Development: Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and progress forward, ensuring they have the necessary tools to excel in their roles.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed set sales goals by selling extended products such as protection packages, extended warranties, life and accident/health insurance, and environmental protection packages.
- Lender Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with lenders to secure competitive interest rates, financing programs, and approvals for clients.
- Financial Knowledge: Have a strong working knowledge of all programs available to each client, ensuring you can explain and demonstrate financial options effectively.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and document all necessary documentation for final delivery, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Have intimate knowledge of regional KPIs and ensure tracking for success, driving business growth and improvement.
- Professional Ethics: Adhere to a standard of professional ethics and be respectful to customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Be knowledgeable of provincial regulations regarding finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Interact with appropriate departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Deal Structuring: Structure deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines, ensuring accurate booking and documentation.
- Credit Evaluation: Perform credit interviews, prepare credit applications, and verify accuracy of all information on the credit application.
- Customer Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of customer information, adhering to data protection regulations.
- Additional Sales Opportunities: Sell credit insurance and service contracts, driving additional revenue streams.
- Lender Relations: Maintain good lender relations, ensuring access to competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Program Knowledge: Maintain a lender guide of programs currently in use and obtain a working knowledge of them.
- Credit Analysis: Analyze credit reports, recognizing conventional deals and turning them over accordingly.
- Deal Management: Maintain dead files for inactive deals, ensuring efficient deal management.
- Customer Engagement: Overcome objections of prospective customers, driving sales and revenue growth.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: $100,000.00 per year
