Position Overview
As the Finance Director at Apache, you will be responsible for steering the financial functions of the organization. This includes overseeing financial planning, conducting thorough analysis, generating reports, and offering strategic insights to foster business development. Effective collaboration and communication are essential, as you will engage with various teams and executives to drive financial performance. Additionally, this role entails managing a dedicated team comprising accounting, administrative, and human resources personnel.
Requirements
- Robust background in finance
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial statements
- Exceptional analytical and communication capabilities
- Experience in financial reporting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Familiarity with US and Canadian GAAP
- Experience in the pipeline sector is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Professional qualifications such as CPA
- Comprehension of contracting terms and their commercial implications
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions is preferred
