Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Finance Director to lead our financial operations at AutoCanada Inc. As the Automotive Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our automotive dealership, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and goals for the dealership, aligning with the company's overall vision.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to drive growth.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance the company's financial position.
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong reputation for AutoCanada Inc.
  • Lead the financing process for customers, including securing financing approvals, negotiating terms, and finalizing transactions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive finance management, with a proven track record of achieving financial targets.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
