Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience and location. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Director/Director, preferably in a media or marketing role;
  • A university or college degree/diploma in a relevant field such as Media, Marketing, Business, Project Management, or related field;
  • Demonstrated supervisory, delegation, and mentorship skills, with a proven track record of client and team success;
  • A working knowledge of syndicated tools (DDS, Prisma, DCM, DBM & Vividata, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of client businesses, meeting KPIs, developing business plans, leading channel planning activities, establishing strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, and managing outside agency partners. They will also work closely with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage all aspects of the client business, providing superior customer service while maximizing business opportunities;
  2. Meet client and agency KPIs and develop business plans;
  3. Lead and manage strategic channel planning activities associated with assigned accounts;
  4. Establish and grow strong relationships with multiple senior client stakeholders through industry knowledge and its application to business challenges;
  5. Steward relationship with outside agency partners;
  6. Work with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPIs;
  7. Manage a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring delegated work is appropriate for their level and experience, and the team remains challenged and engaged;
  8. Actively incorporate tools into the client planning process and lead workshops in a facilitator role;
  9. Understand client compensation structure and implications of plan changes;
  10. Act as a positive role model through example;
  11. Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with the team;
  12. Mentor the team to maximize individuals' growth and harness strengths and opportunities of each team member;
  13. Work closely with direct reports to optimize revenue opportunities within the agency.
