Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at Ontario Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of our restaurant kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers;
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards;
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards;
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to optimize workflow and productivity;
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize stock levels;
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment;
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of food services;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years;
  • At least 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train staff;
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve issues and improve processes;
