Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of recent experience working in management of research and engagement projects, with a strong background in project management and human resources functions. Fluency in spoken and written English is required, as well as a Master's degree or equivalent in experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the human resources functions of the team, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and management of staff performance and development. They will also be responsible for implementing the Firelight strategic plan and objectives at the business unit level to support organizational change initiatives and growth.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Managing the business unit research team with direct oversight of staff evaluation, professional development, and performance management
  • Championing and supporting Firelight values and culture across the unit
  • Implementing the Firelight strategic plan and objectives at the business unit level
  • Leading the hiring, appointment, onboarding, management, and growth of team staff
  • Maintaining employee files with the People + Culture department and tracking vacation, sick time, and leaves

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for producing financial reports and maintaining financial records related to the program, tracking and overseeing business development opportunities, and ensuring the consistent application of Firelight data management policies for project-related work completed within the business unit.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
