About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Sales Director to lead our Financial Growth initiative in Edmonton. As a key member of our Individual Life and Health Insurance division, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth through WFG channel advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with insurance-focused advisors to drive business development and account management.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and establish a network of productive advisor relationships for Universal Life, Whole Life, Term, and CI insurance products.
  • Build relationships with producers through regular meetings, seminars, and case consultations.
  • Present to small and large groups of advisors and distributors to promote our life and health insurance offerings.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for sales and leadership. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education and/or relevant professional designation (e.g., CFP, CLU, CHFC, TEP).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on marketing to independent advisors in a life insurance environment.
  • Previous sales and sales management experience is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and a well-maintained vehicle are required.
  • Proficiency in various office-based software, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and presentation (written and oral) skills.
  • The ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, including internationally.
  • The flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
