Project Coordinator Opportunity

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Waterworks company based in the GTA, Ontario. Our client is a successful family-owned company with over a decade of experience servicing many of the municipalities across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, vendors as well as the entire team
  • Prepare regular progress reports
  • Prepare subcontracts, P.O's, change orders and site instructions
  • Participate in tender and contract preparation as well as partner with the Estimator to assemble bids, track inquiries and requests for pricing.
  • Maintain safety records and basic safety audits
  • Compile Close-out Checklist and Submission of Close-out documents, prepare Certificates of Completion and arrange for Certificates of Publication at the time of Close-out
  • Participate in project meetings/prepare minutes
  • Administrative: scheduling meetings, communications, email correspondence, letters, couriers, etc.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years industry experience in a coordinator role, specifically within Water and Sewer is a definite asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, online
  • Ability to understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and 3D models
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and a basic understanding of MS Project
  • Proven ability to understand construction contract terminology an asset
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
