**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Coordinator to join our Support Services Office team. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our hardware refresh project, ensuring the smooth deployment and replacement of desktops and laptops for our team members.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and deploy new desktops and laptops, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues.
- Coordinate with team members to migrate data and software, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Ensure old devices are properly disposed of, in accordance with our environmental sustainability policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, tracking hardware life cycles and ensuring timely replacements.
- Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of hardware to our sites across Canada.
- Familiarity with supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Online, as well as imaging devices and migrating operating systems.
- Build strong relationships with our communities, IT team, and service desk customers.
- Track and monitor end-user IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and frequent communication.
- Install, maintain, manage, service, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, operating systems, desktop PCs, printers, and laptops issues.
- Contribute to the management of Office 365, Active Directory, System Centre Configuration Manager, and other IT tools, as assigned.
**Requirements**
- Degree or Diploma in a Computer Related Field from a University, College, or Technical School.
- Experience in providing remote support, such as a Service Desk Environment, assisting users via phone, email, or in person.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and knowledge in supporting iOS mobile devices.
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Superb attention to detail, time management, and organization skills.
