Job Title: District Sales Manager, BC

Arterra Wines Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a District Sales Manager, BC. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for implementing our sales strategy and driving profitable growth in the BC region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales representatives and provide coaching and development opportunities to foster a culture of trust, accountability, and results-driven performance.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures profitable growth in the BC region.
  • Manage the communication flow to the field sales force through regular meetings, emails, phone calls, and text messages.
  • Work closely with sales representatives to ensure they have a strong understanding of our products, customers, and sales strategy.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory plan and key customer development plans.
  • Track, assess, and share results internally.
  • Communicate regularly on marketplace dynamics, competitive pressures, and promotional effectiveness internally.
Requirements:
  • University degree or comparable in business, sales, and/or marketing.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Experience in the beverage alcohol industry an asset.
  • Strong wine product knowledge and understanding of the BC beverage alcohol industry.
  • Proven experience or certification in sales skills and negotiation.
  • Strong analytical skills, polished presentation abilities, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, driven, and disciplined.
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to create and modify PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents, and effectively utilize web-based tools and resources.
  • Proof of valid driver's license required.
  • Genuine interest and passion for the beverage alcohol industry.

The budgeted range for this position is $81,632.00-$105,642.00, and the base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra. The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
