Supply Chain Administrator Specialist

Job Summary:
The Supplier Quote Administrator supports the qualification and generation of new suppliers within Vecima’s supply chain. This role involves preparing and executing RFQs, subsequent data updates to the ERP and posting of contracts within the contract management system, as well as maintaining the supplier card database and supplier contract database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and RFQ Management: Prepares and executes RFQs, identifies expired or missing quotes, and sends out information requests to new/prospective suppliers.
- Supplier Management: Maintains the supplier card database, ensuring cards are up to date and accurate, and supports Vecima’s ESG program, working with a 3rd party partner.
- Contract Management: Maintains the supplier contract database, posting new contracts and reviewing expiring contracts for renewal.
- Support Functions: Performs support functions such as data entry, reporting, posting files to share point, and supply chain administration of file cloud web portal.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or designation in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is an asset.
- Experience: 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and within the electronics industry.
- ERP System Experience: Experience working with an ERP system, such as Oracle, is an asset.
- Software Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
