We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team at Cameco Corporation.
About Us:
Cameco is one of the largest global providers of uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. Our nuclear fuel products generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power for utilities worldwide.
The Role:
You will develop and implement processes and procedures for effective negotiation and execution of capital expenditure project contracts. Collaborate with stakeholders, including contracts administrators, procurement, construction, project management, and legal counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to form contracts and ensure process execution.
- Determine contracting type and strategy with end users.
- Develop and initiate requests for proposals, evaluate proposals, and complete award yes.
- Follow Cameco's policies, standards, and codes.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including contracts administrators, procurement, construction, project management, and legal counsel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, law, or engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience in supply chain management.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or comparable designation.
- Experience negotiating, developing, and executing large construction contracts.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
