Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Soni & Sons Construction. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles, mosaics, and other flooring materials in various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with tiles
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling
Work Environment

This role requires working in various locations, including construction sites and client premises. The work environment is physically demanding, with exposure to odors, dust, and noise.
