Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Soni & Sons Construction. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, align, and straighten them to achieve a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Pack and remove excess grout to create a seamless joint.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles to maintain the integrity of the installation.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
Work Environment:

As a Tile Installer, you will work in various locations, including construction sites, warehouses, and offices. You will be exposed to dust, odours, and noise, and will need to handle heavy loads and work at heights.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in tile installation.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and possess hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a hardworking attitude.
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Working Hours:

32 hours per week.
