Job Title: Tile Installer

At Soni & Sons Construction, we are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles, mosaics, and other flooring materials in various locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel. You must also be able to distinguish between colors and have good hand-eye coordination.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work on site, with no option to work remotely
